Job summary

Laya healthcare is seeking a Planning Team Lead to guide and develop a team of planning and delivery professionals across a portfolio of strategic initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for Project Managers and Delivery Leads, driving improvements in governance and planning maturity.

You will lead a team, coach and mentor planning professionals, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement while collaborating with stakeholders to balance delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related discipline.
• PM certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Agile delivery accreditation (PSM, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years' experience leading complex enterprise-scale projects, programmes, or delivery functions.
• Experience supporting delivery teams through risk, uncertainty, and stakeholder pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee planning and delivery activities across a portfolio of strategic projects and initiatives.
• Act as a trusted leader, coach, and escalation point for Project Managers and Delivery Leads.
• Support teams in navigating delivery risks, project challenges, stakeholder escalations, dependencies, and conflicting priorities.
• Provide constructive challenge to delivery plans, assumptions, timelines, and delivery approaches where required.
• Ensure governance, planning, prioritisation, and delivery practices are consistently applied.
