Job summary

CareerWise Recruitment partners with a leading Irish food manufacturing company to recruit a Financial Controller in Cork. You will report to senior leadership and influence business strategy, partnering with operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include monthly management accounts, budgeting and cash flow, cost accounting, audits, ERP improvements, and collaboration with Supply Chain to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
• 5+ years FC experience in manufacturing
• ERP experience & reporting tools
• Strong commercial & operational awareness
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Manage cost accounting and inventory reporting
• Develop and improve financial controls, systems, and processes
• Oversee annual audit and statutory compliance requirements
• Drive ERP and BI system improvements
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to support performance
