Job summary

Leinster Appointments is recruiting a Financial Controller to oversee financial and accounting activities in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on robust controls, accurate reporting, and strategic financial support to management.

You will lead budgeting, cash flow, and working capital management while collaborating with operations and procurement to improve profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA).
• 5+ years post-qualification experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of management accounting, budgeting, and financial controls.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
• Produce financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Analyse financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Present financial results and KPIs to senior management.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of the general ledger and accounting records.
• Oversee pricing strategies, margin analysis, and product profitability.
