Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate Director for Mine Water & Water Resources to lead a portfolio of complex projects in the UK and Ireland. The role can be based from any WSP office in the region and focuses on delivering technically excellent solutions, commercial performance, and strong client outcomes.

You will provide strategic leadership, act as a recognised technical authority, and direct multi-disciplinary teams through feasibility, permitting, design and operational phases of mining projects

Qualifications

• Significant experience in mine water management, hydrology or water resources.
• Strong track record leading complex technical projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with feasibility studies, permitting and design development.
• Proven ability to manage finances, resources and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across mine water, hydrology and water resources projects.
• Act as technical authority, advising on challenging projects across the mining lifecycle.
• Lead development and review of site models, water balance, flood risk assessments and studies.
• Direct multi-disciplinary project teams across feasibility, permitting, design and operations.
