Job summary

The Internal Communications & Employee Engagement Manager at EirGrid will shape how employees connect with the company’s strategy, purpose and culture through effective communication and genuine engagement.

You will lead governance, frameworks and channels, ensuring authentic leadership communications and opportunities for employee voice across the organisation.

As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will drive change communications, measure impact and align messaging to strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Communications, Public Relations, HR, Marketing or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications.
• Proven experience developing and delivering communication and engagement strategies.
• Experience supporting senior leaders and executive communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal communications and employee engagement strategy.
• Lead initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and voice.
• Lead governance, frameworks and best practice guidance for leaders/managers.
• Advise Executive Directors on employee communications and change.
• Plan communications for strategic initiatives and organisational change.
• Oversee all-employee townhalls, leadership briefings and updates.
• Manage and evolve internal communications channels.
• Improve digital employee communication experience through innovation.
• Build partnerships to align internal and external messaging.
