Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a senior Risk & Opportunity Lead to shape risk management across major infrastructure programmes in Ireland. You will drive quantitative and qualitative risk analyses, advise senior teams, and champion governance and reporting improvements for portfolio delivery.

You will influence risk cultures, lead workshops, and collaborate with project teams to ensure successful outcomes while traveling to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in project and programme risk & opportunity management within infrastructure, construction, engineering, or the built environment
• Recognised risk qualification such as IRM Diploma, PMI-RMP, MoR Practitioner, APM Risk Practitioner, or equivalent
• Strong hands-on experience delivering Quantitative Cost Risk Analysis (QCRA) and Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA)
• Experience developing, implementing, and improving risk frameworks, governance structures, and reporting processes
• Ability to engage, challenge, and influence stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction of risk and opportunity management across major programmes
• Drive quantitative and qualitative risk analysis activities using industry-leading methodologies
• Act as trusted advisor on risk management and promote proactive solutions
• Facilitate risk and opportunity workshops and communications to key stakeholders
• Establish reporting and governance frameworks with clear, actionable insights
• Foster a risk-aware culture and develop training to embed best practices across the organisation
• Collaborate with senior leaders on major programme reviews and resource planning
