Job summary

Jacobs in Dublin is seeking an experienced Reporting Lead to drive programme reporting and performance management across major infrastructure programmes. This hybrid role involves regular client office attendance and collaboration with project teams and governance bodies.

You will lead reporting frameworks, dashboards and BI insights, mentor a reporting team, and partner with PMO and stakeholders to ensure timely, high‑quality information and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in performance and reporting activities.
  • At least 5 years' experience supporting major infrastructure projects through full lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of programme reporting, governance and project controls.
  • Experience leading teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.

As part of our growing transportation team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of major national infrastructure programmes while working alongside industry‑leading professionals.

We're looking for an experienced Reporting Lead to join our team in Dublin. This is a hybrid role with regular attendance at the client office (2-3 days per week), offering the opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of one of Ireland's most significant infrastructure programmes.

Here’s what you’ll need

You’ll be an experienced reporting, project controls or programme performance professional with a proven track record delivering complex infrastructure programmes.

Essential Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in performance and reporting activities.
  • At least 5 years' experience supporting major infrastructure, transportation, construction or engineering projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of programme reporting, governance and project controls principles.
  • Experience leading teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
  • Experience in a consultancy, client‑side or contractor environment.
  • Advanced reporting and data visualisation expertise.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of earned value management, schedule analysis and financial performance reporting.
  • Experience designing and implementing reporting frameworks and project controls processes.
  • Experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of working within regulated or safety‑critical environments.
