Job summary

Quasar Medical | Medical Device Manufacturer in Ireland seeks an HR Manager / Senior HR Business Partner to align people strategies with manufacturing goals and drive organizational performance. You will partner with site leadership on talent, compensation, succession planning, and employee engagement.

The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic workforce planning, policy compliance under Irish employment law, and budget oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• Master's degree and/or CIPD preferred.
• 8-10 years HR experience, with HRBP or leadership roles.
• Experience in manufacturing/medical device environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and compliance.
• Experience in talent management, succession planning, compensation, and org development.
• Experience salary benchmarking, job evaluation, and compensation reviews.
• Strong employee relations, leadership coaching, and stakeholder management.
• Proven experience driving engagement and culture change.
• Strong analytical skills for HR metrics and data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship skills.
• Strategic thinker but hands-on and execution-focused.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Site Leader to develop and implement people strategies that support goals and growth.
• Advise leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, employee relations, change management, and people decisions.
• Lead talent management initiatives, including succession planning and retention planning.
• Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives reinforcing values and leadership expectations.
• Manage the annual performance management cycle, goal setting, reviews, and development planning.
• Create career development plans and strengthen internal talent pipelines.
• Lead compensation and rewards activities including benchmarking and evaluations.
• Monitor market trends and advise on compensation practices for competitiveness.
• Review and maintain HR policies to ensure compliance with Irish law and company standards.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement processes.
• Develop and oversee the annual site training and development strategy, including leadership development and compliance training.
• Lead succession planning and organizational capability discussions for current and future needs.
• Manage the site HR budget and resource alignment with operational goals.
• Use HR metrics to provide insights and support decision-making.
• Champion integration of company culture into daily operations and alignment with global HR initiatives.
