Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced HR Director to lead the HR and Recruitment functions across multiple sites in Ireland. This newly created senior leadership role reports to the Managing Director and focuses on developing the people strategy for the next growth phase.

The successful candidate will own the people infrastructure, culture and talent strategy, partnering with senior leaders to deliver practical HR solutions and drive organisational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Senior HR leadership experience at director or equivalent level.
• Experience leading HR teams within multi-site organisations.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and employee relations.
• Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare or similar sectors.
• Strong understanding of HR governance and GDPR.
• Experience in management development and talent development.
• Strong recruitment and workforce planning experience.
• Commercially minded and pragmatic HR approach.
• Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills.
• Approachable and practical, with ability to partner with operational managers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR and Recruitment functions.
• Develop and implement a practical HR strategy aligned with growth.
• Advise senior leadership on HR matters.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and absence.
• Strengthen HR processes, policies, systems and governance.
• Lead succession planning, internal progression and management development.
• Oversee recruitment, workforce planning and talent pipelines.
• Review HR systems, reporting and automate processes.
• Maintain GDPR, employment compliance and HR governance.
• Use workforce data to support senior decision making.
