Job summary

PTSB is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner - Manager to act as a strategic partner to ExCo members and their direct reports, shaping people plans and delivering a high-performance people function.

You will provide proactive HR advisory services, drive change, and lead strategic HR programs across the bank, embedding the HRBP model and ensuring risk-aware, compliant people practices in a hybrid role based at Stephens Green, Dublin.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a HR Business Partner environment.
• Third level educational qualification essential.
• Experience partnering across diverse groups and levels of seniority.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices.
• Experience in organisational development, change management, and talent initiatives.
• Strong analytical and project management skills with detail-oriented approach.
• Can-do and entrepreneurial attitude with focus on impact.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Leaders to align our People strategy with overall business goals.
• Be a dynamic agent for change and advocate for HR initiatives.
• Develop and implement a strategic HR agenda meeting business needs.
• Establish and refresh interaction frequency with ExCo members and Direct Reports.
• Align HRBP approach with the Group's strategy and objectives.
• Contribute to development, communication, and delivery of the HR Business Partner model.
• Embed HR in designated parts of PTSB and provide proactive HR service.
• Deliver people requirements for BAU or change activity.
• Provide expert advice on organisational design, workforce planning and Talent/Succession.
• Guide and influence people priorities; support strategic HR initiatives and large-scale change.
• Champion the Bank's culture and values; act as ambassador at all levels.
• Provide strong management to the HR business unit and build a cohesive team.
• Drive risk-aware culture aligned to PTSB risk appetite.
• Identify risks with mitigating controls.
• Advocate calculated risk-taking in a regulated environment.
• Support delivery of Group Internal Control Framework.
• Comply with Group Risk and Control Matrices.
