Job summary

Abbott in Ireland is expanding its Kilkenny site and seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to translate business strategy into effective people solutions. You will influence senior leaders, shape workforce planning, and drive organizational capability across manufacturing, healthcare, and regulatory contexts.

The role requires broad HR expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to build high-performing teams through credible relationships and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience in a HR Business Partner or equivalent role.
• Experience within a manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare or other highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to site and functional leaders, translating business strategy into effective people strategies and solutions.
• Develop and implement strategic people strategies aligned to business priorities.
• Lead and coach leaders through performance management, talent development and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
• Support organizational design, workforce planning and change initiatives to improve performance and accountability.
