Job summary

Cpl is recruiting an experienced Financial Controller for a fast-growing engineering and technical services provider in Limerick. You will lead the finance function, provide strategic financial direction and governance across operations, and partner with the regional leadership.

The role covers month/year end closes, budgeting, controls, risk and audit, plus mentoring your team. It is a hybrid role with 2–3 days in the office and offers 90–95k salary, bonus, pension, private health, and strong

Qualifications

• 3rd level degree in a relevant discipline.
• Fully qualified accountant; Big 3 training preferred but not essential.
• 6-7+ years experience in a Finance Controller/Finance Manager or similar level role.
• Experience supporting international entities would be a major advantage.
• Experience in growth planning/expansion strategy would be an advantage.
• Excellent IT skills including a high level of Microsoft applications.
• Proven ERP system experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function and a finance team.
• Manage monthly and annual close processes with robust controls.
• Deliver detailed financial analysis and performance reports.
• Oversee risk, compliance and audit processes.
• Coordinate and implement annual budgets.
• Provide financial guidance to commercial and technical leaders.
• Drive business transformation projects and mentor the team.
• Liaise with the global CFO on regional projects.
