Job summary

Dublin-based transport and logistics company is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its finance team. You’ll combine strong financial reporting and technical accounting with business partnering, process improvement and strategic decision-making.

Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will manage monthly group-wide reporting, drive working capital initiatives, develop KPIs, ensure VAT and corporation tax compliance, support audits and strengthen internal controls across

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in a multi-entity environment is highly desirable.
• Experience overseeing staff across Finance functions.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with analytics.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Experience with Sage, Workday Adaptive Planning and SQL-based packages is an advantage.
• Proactive, self-motivated and capable of owning tasks.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts across multiple group companies.
• Group reporting and financial consolidation.
• Variance analysis against budget and prior year.
• Working capital and debtor performance management.
• Develop and report KPIs for senior management.
• Revenue and tax compliance, including VAT, Corporation Tax and employer filings.
• Support the annual audit and liaise with external auditors.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Identify and implement finance process improvements.
• Support integration of new businesses and IT systems.
