Abnormal Security Corp. is seeking a Strategic Events Specialist, EMEA, to own large flagship events across the region. You will manage end‑to‑end logistics, coordinate invitations and on‑site execution, and drive ROI through cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Partners.
You will lead multi‑market event plans, source venues and vendors, and contribute to post‑event analysis. Travel roughly 40–50% across EMEA, with occasional APAC/AMER opportunities.
You're someone who thrives on a great project plan, keeping deadlines tracked and on target, and managing multiple stakeholders at once across different time zones. Your communication is second to none, and you're always thinking one step ahead when it comes to delivering an event, pre-event and on-site. You understand the importance of an event running smoothly, and love learning as you go to optimise for the future. Multi‑market EMEA experience and the ability to work across different time zones and regions. Experience of owning established, repeatable event formats end‑to‑end - not just coordinating logistics for someone else's plan - with sound judgement on known procedures and a willingness to ask for guidance on new or first‑of‑their-kind activations. Strong program management habits: organised, deadline‑driven, and increasingly independent on routine work. Experience running executive‑level programmes (dinners, roundtables, advisory boards) as well as larger conference/trade show activations. Willingness to travel roughly 40-50%, mainly across EMEA, with some APAC and AMER travel, including evening/weekend work around live events. Confidence working cross‑functionally with Sales, SDR/BDR and Marketing stakeholders, and translating event activity into commercial outcomes. Comfortable presenting event results and ROI to stakeholders using registration, pipeline and engagement data. 2-4 years' experience in B2B events or experiential marketing, ideally within technology, SaaS, cybersecurity or enterprise software. Budget, vendor and contract management experience across multiple concurrent workstreams. Cybersecurity or enterprise software experience is a plus, not a requirement. What matters is commercial judgement, regional ownership, and exceptional execution. Most of all, you care about the craft. The details other people don't notice are exactly the ones you fix. You know a great event is not a logistics exercise. It's a story told in three dimensions - one that brings a brand to life, earns trust with prospects and customers, arms the sales team, and produces measurable business impact. You're equally at home building a project plan in a spreadsheet and troubleshooting a badge-printer jam at 7am. You're calm when things go sideways, direct when something isn't working, and generous with your stakeholders when it goes right. Experience with event and marketing technology such as Asana, Allocadia, Coupa, Jifflenow, Cvent, Salesforce, Sigma, Splash, RainFocus, Claude, and Google Suite. An additional European language. Familiarity with account‑based marketing (ABM) principles and target‑account event strategies.
