Job description

We are looking for someone who wants to build a career in global events and get stuck into making them happen.

You will be part of the team bringing complex corporate events to life, learning how all the pieces fit together and taking on more responsibility as your experience grows.

We are Eventcomms Agency, a close-knit Irish team headquartered in Dublin, delivering global events for global clients.

This is a hybrid role. We work mostly remotely, with some time together in our Dublin office, alongside international travel for our events.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Keeping event plans, timelines and action lists on track
  • Building event webpages, registration sites and event apps, with third-party support
  • Coordinating venues, hotels, suppliers and event partners
  • Supporting accommodation, F&B, transfers and event logistics
  • Managing delegate communications, registration and attendee queries
  • Researching destinations, venues, suppliers and creative ideas
  • Requesting and comparing supplier quotations
  • Keeping event files and information organised and accurate
  • Communicating professionally with clients and suppliers
  • Travelling internationally to support onsite event delivery
  • Being curious about new technology and experimenting with tools, including AI, that can help us work smarter

Most importantly, you will learn to spot what needs doing and take action rather than waiting to be asked.

And if you see a better way of doing something, we want you to say it. Bring ideas, ask questions and help us improve how we work.

You Might Be Our Person If...

You are the person who likes things organised and notices when something is missing.

You ask questions rather than make assumptions.

You are curious about how things work and how they could work better.

You take pride in getting the small things right because you understand that they make a difference to the bigger picture.

If you spot a problem, your instinct is to think about how it could be solved.

You are comfortable taking responsibility, but equally comfortable asking for help when you need it.

And when you are given an opportunity to try something new, your instinct is to get involved.

What You Will Bring
  • Some experience in events, hospitality, travel, event coordination or a similar environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence communicating professionally with clients and suppliers
  • The ability to organise your workload and manage competing deadlines
  • A genuine appetite to learn and develop your career in events
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for international travel

Corporate event or event agency experience would be an advantage, but for this role we care just as much about your attitude, potential and how you approach your work.

You do not need to tick every box. If the role sounds like you and you think you could be great at it, we would still like to hear from you.

Why Eventcomms Agency?

A core team of 5. A global network around us.

Right now, we are Brian, our Managing Director, Aoife, our Assistant Event Manager, and Niamh, our Event Executive. Brian is based in Dublin, while Aoife and Niamh are based in Mayo.

We are now growing that core team from 3 to 5, adding a Senior Event Manager and another Event Executive.

We are a small team by design, but our world is much bigger. Around us is a trusted network of local partners in destinations around the world, giving us the expertise and support we need wherever an event takes us.

Being a team of 5 means you will know the people you work with. You will know your clients. Your ideas will be heard, your contribution will make a difference, and you will have a real voice in how we work and where Eventcomms Agency goes next.

You get the relationships and opportunities of a close-knit agency, with the scale and variety of genuinely global event work.

We believe work should contribute to a fulfilling, balanced life. Alongside a competitive salary, we offer:

  • 22 days annual leave
  • Annual discretionary performance bonus
  • Your birthday off every year with our Happy You Day
  • 2 additional paid company days off, Good Friday and Christmas Eve
  • Time off in lieu when event delivery requires additional hours or weekend working
  • Hybrid working, with most of your time working remotely
  • Annual company offsite
  • Health insurance contribution or monthly wellness allowance
  • Mileage for business travel within Ireland
Our Values

We Care. We are Curious. We are Client Centric. We are Creative.

They are not words we stick on a wall. They shape how we work with our clients, our partners and each other.

If this sounds like your kind of role, we would love to hear from you.
