Job summary

Aureol Global Connections is seeking a Cost Engineer to manage and control project costs throughout the lifecycle. You will work closely with project managers, estimators and engineers to develop accurate cost estimates, budgets, forecasting models and cost reporting dashboards.

Your insights will help identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure that projects are delivered within approved budgets and on schedule, with transparent financial tracking across all phases of the work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Cost Engineer or in a similar cost management role.
• Strong knowledge of cost control techniques, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Proficient in cost management software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
• Professional certification in cost engineering or project management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects based on scope and specifications.
• Monitor and control project costs, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop financial forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization and value engineering.
• Maintain comprehensive cost documentation and ensure accurate cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in contract negotiations and change order management with clients and subcontractors.
• Utilize cost control software and tools to track expenses and support project financial management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to cost management.
