Job summary

Silent Aire Dublin is seeking a detail-oriented Project Cost Analyst to support budgeting, monitoring, and control of project costs across the lifecycle. The role will involve collaborating with project teams to provide accurate financial information, monthly cost reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis to enable informed decision-making.

Strong Excel and ERP experience, plus the ability to analyze trends and risks, are essential as you assist in budgeting and cost baselines and produce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in project controls, accounting, or finance.
• Strong budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience with project-based financial reporting is preferred.
• Experience in construction/industrial environments is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support development, maintenance, and control of project budgets and cost baselines.
• Monitor project costs, commitments, and budget performance through project lifecycles.
• Assist with monthly cost reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Analyze actual costs against budget and forecast to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather, validate, and analyze financial data.
• Support project setup and ongoing maintenance within accounting systems.
• Prepare project performance reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Identify potential cost risks and help develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure project controls processes and reporting requirements are followed.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to project controls, budgeting, and reporting.
