Job summary

Principle in Dublin seeks a fully qualified senior finance leader to oversee financial management in a high-profile national organisation. The role combines financial leadership, governance and strategic partnering, reporting to the CEO and guiding the Board.

You will lead budgeting, statutory reporting, internal controls, and finance systems, manage external audit, and develop the finance team, driving financial strategy and organisational planning.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA with at least seven years post-qualification experience.
• Proven track record in senior accounting and finance leadership roles.
• Experience in governance, reporting, external audit and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, management, monitoring and control of budgets and financial plans.
• Provide accurate financial reporting to the CEO, Board and senior leadership.
• Oversee statutory financial statements, year-end reporting and external audit.
• Ensure robust financial governance, internal controls and risk management.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, banking, payroll, tax compliance and fixed assets.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance systems, processes, controls and reporting.
• Provide strategic financial advice to support planning and decision-making.
• Develop and mentor the Financial Management team.
