Job summary

Shape Executive Conversations in AI seeks a German-speaking Mid-Market AI Business Partner to join a high-performing commercial team. This role is strategic and consultative, engaging with mid-market organisations and global brands to discuss AI transformation, data strategy and operational efficiency.

You will lead conversations with senior leaders, translate AI value into commercial outcomes, and collaborate with senior Account Executives on territory planning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in B2B sales, business development, or consultative commercial roles.
• Strong interest in AI, technology, SaaS, or innovation.
• Confident speaking with senior stakeholders and executives.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and questioning skills.
• Commercial mindset with strong curiosity and business acumen.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage new business opportunities through targeted, high-quality outreach.
• Conduct deep account research, stakeholder mapping, and market analysis.
• Build strategic hypotheses on where AI can solve real business challenges.
• Lead consultative conversations with senior leaders and decision-makers.
• Uncover business pain points, growth blockers, and transformation goals.
• Translate complex AI solutions into clear commercial value propositions.
• Work closely with senior Account Executives / Directors on territory planning.
• Deliver high-quality, well-qualified opportunities with clear next steps.
• Maintain CRM hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline visibility.
• Stay informed on AI, SaaS, and digital transformation trends.
