Job summary

Robinson Trailers and Cranes is seeking a Stores / Warehouse Assistant / Fork truck Driver to join our team in Ireland. The role involves handling a high volume of parts, loading and unloading with a forklift, and keeping paperwork and stock records up to date.

The ideal candidate will have experience in stores or parts, knowledge of common vehicle parts, and the ability to communicate with customers while organising paperwork. Training will be provided and safety guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a stores/parts environment.
• Knowledge of parts such as axles, wheels, bolts.
• Forklift experience and valid licence.
• Ability to lift heavy items in line with H&S guidelines.
• Stock counting and accurate record keeping is required.
• Ability to understand customer needs and document orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate fork truck to load/unload and move stock.
• Organise paperwork and ensure timely documentation.
• Count stock and maintain accurate records.
• Organise stores for efficient assembly bay picking.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks around the factory.

Stores / Warehouse Assistant / Fork truck Driver

We are looking for someone who has good all round experience in stores / parts including but not limited to

• Manufacturing
• Dealing with parts -high volume of different parts coming in and going out at the same time
• Knowledge of the actual parts, so preferably someone form motor trade, manufacturing etc. that knows what the parts are axles, wheels, bolts etc.
• Ability to drive fork truck to load and unload & organise paper work in timely manner around same
• Ability to lift heavy items in line with best H&S guidelines
• Be able to talk to the customer and to understand the technicalities of what part they are looking for and organise paper work / ship same.
• Stock counting experience
• Stock organisation skills - Leading to using software package to allocate and forecast future stock requirements
• Proactive in organising the stores to be its most efficient in terms of assembly bay picking
• General maintenance duties around the factory, fixing fans, doors, washing floors etc
• Training will be provided
