Job summary

Vertiv Ireland is seeking Stores Personnel in Letterkenny to support inventory and logistics, helping keep production running smoothly in a dynamic environment.

You will receive and issue materials, maintain accurate records, organise stock, and coordinate shipments, with forklift qualification preferred and a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive and issue materials to meet operational requirements.
• Record inventory transactions using manual and digital systems.
• Organise materials and equipment for projects.
• Monitor inventory movement and perform cycle counts.
• Ensure store materials are identified, labelled and stored correctly.
• Manage outbound shipments and coordinate pickups with service providers.
• Help maintain minimum stock levels for critical components.
• Organise tooling equipment for production floor and record sign-out.

Job description

We are looking for Stores Personnel to join our team in Letterkenny.

Key responsibilities:

• Receive and issue materials, equipment, and other items in line with operational requirements.
• Accurately record inventory transactions using manual and digital systems.
• Organise and prepare all the necessary materials and equipment required for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Monitor inventory movement and identify discrepancies through regular cycle counts and stock verification.
• Ensure all store materials are correctly identified, labelled, and stored in their designated locations.
• Manage outbound shipments, including documentation and coordination of pick-up with service providers.
• Assist in maintaining minimum stock levels for critical components to avoid production delays.
• Organize and hand out all tooling equipment for production floor, ensuring all information is captured before signing out.

Essential Skills, Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience in warehouse, material handling, or inventory control.

• A clear disciplinary record.

Desirable Skills, Qualifications/Experience:

• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of stock and logistics processes.
• Forklift qualification
