Moog Ireland Ltd. in Carrigaline, County Cork, is seeking a Stores Operator on a 12-month contract to coordinate stores duties and support planning, purchasing and customer service teams in a busy warehouse environment.

The role requires hands-on stock control, kit preparation, weekly shipments, and adherence to safety and quality procedures, with opportunities to contribute to lean initiatives and continuous improvement.

• Manually setup equipment to prepare components for PTH level kits.
• Pack cards and units for weekly shipping to customers or subcontractors.
• Oversee stock in off-site warehouse; maintain stock levels and update off-site reports.
• Follow planning schedules; perform kitting and prep per plan.
• Follow all procedures and process documentation accurately.
• Control materials, inventory, and cycle counting.
• Apply safety, anti-static and housekeeping practices.
• Meet quality and production targets and support improvement initiatives.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as required by supervisor.
• Complete all stores-related documentation.
• Support Lean initiatives in day-to-day activities.

Job Summary

The Stores Operator will be responsible for the co-ordination and execution of stores duties including other administration duties. Interacting with Purchasing, Customer Service and planning in meeting the weekly tasks for the area. Support, assist fellow members of staff in the department and play an active part in the day to day running of the area.

Specific Responsibilities

• Manually set up equipment to allow the preparation of components for PTH level kits.
• Packing of cards and units shipping on a weekly basis to customer or subcontractor.
• Responsible for the stock in our off site warehouse. Maintaining stock levels in stores and sending stock off site so that we follow all safety requirements for space. Updating and maintaining off site reports.
• Work to schedules as prioritised by planning. Kitting as per schedule and prep as per schedules.
• Ensure all Procedures and Process documentation is accurately followed and up to date in all aspects.
• Materials Control, including “control of inventory”, transaction integrity and Cycle counting.
• Ensure all Safety, Anti-static and Housekeeping practices are understood and applied.
• Achievement of all Quality and Production, targets and objectives as well as supporting Quality improvement initiatives.
• Miscellaneous duties as required by supervisor.
• Completion of all necessary Stores related documentation.
• Support Lean initiatives when required and embrace lean in your day to day activities.
