Job summary

Dublin Aerospace seeks a Materials Specialist in the Stores Department, based at Dublin Airport. You will ensure goods inwards & outwards procedures are followed and incoming deliveries are processed promptly to support efficient operation.

Core duties include processing receipts, stock locations, and issuing materials, while maintaining IT systems and adhering to airworthiness, health & safety and environmental standards. PAC approval may be required in the future.

Qualifications

• Experience in a stores environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work on own initiative, be self-motivated and flexible.
• Ability to work under pressure both in a team and on their own.
• Strong communication and organisational skills both written and oral.
• Good IT knowledge.
• An appreciation of the importance of material supplies to the Dublin Aerospace operation.
• Be available to obtain PAC approval for Stores Department in the future.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all actions are compliant with Company procedures in relation to airworthiness, health & safety and environmental requirements.
• Adherence to Goods Inwards and Goods Outwards procedures as appropriate.
• Be prepared to undertake other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Company from time to time.
• Undertake any other duties as reasonably assigned in line with the requirements of the role.

The successful candidate will ensure goods inwards & outwards procedures are followed and incoming deliveries are processed in a timely fashion so as to support the efficient running of the operation.

Essential Criteria

• Current full B Drivers licence;
• Willingness to undergo training in Counter Balance Forklift operation.
• Be willing to undergo Garda Vetting and be able to pass a 5 year background check.
• Have permission to live and work in Ireland without restriction.
• Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug screening.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken).
