Job summary

Tusker Construction Group is seeking an experienced Stores Assistant to join our busy HGV & Plant Maintenance Garage division in Broomfield, Co. Monaghan. You will support day-to-day stores operations, receive deliveries, and help prepare orders and paperwork.

The role requires a highly organized, team-oriented individual with good communication skills and basic computer literacy. Training on our stock system is provided, and we offer a pension scheme, EAP, wellness programme, and company events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a stores, parts, warehouse or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the stores
• Identifying and locating stock using the company’s internal system (training provided)
• Liaising with internal departments and employees about parts requirements
• Receiving deliveries and checking the quality and quantity of incoming goods
• Preparing orders for distribution
• Preparing and processing paperwork, including invoices and delivery notes
• Assisting with stock control, stock organisation and regular stock takes
• Entering and updating information in the stock management system (training provided)
• Keeping the stores clean, organised and safe
• Carrying out other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Stock Controller, your duties will include:

• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the stores
• Identifying and locating stock using the company’s internal system (training provided)
• Liaising with internal departments and employees about parts requirements
• Receiving deliveries and checking the quality and quantity of incoming goods
• Preparing orders for distribution
• Preparing and processing paperwork, including invoices and delivery notes

Requirements
