Job summary

The Tullamore Court Hotel in Ireland is seeking a dedicated Stores Person to join our prestigious hotel team, part of the iNUA Collection.

You will manage procurement for all departments, control stock levels, negotiate with suppliers, and lead the purchasing and stores team to deliver cost efficiency and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in purchasing and inventory management in hospitality or related industry.
• Strong negotiation skills with ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
• Excellent organisational and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Managing the procurement process for all hotel departments, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services.
• Overseeing inventory control and stock management to minimise wastage and optimise levels.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Monitoring purchasing trends, supplier performance, and market conditions to inform decisions.
• Collaborating with department heads to understand procurement needs and provide effective solutions.
• Maintaining records of purchases, contracts and inventory transactions.
• Leading and motivating a team of purchasing and store staff to achieve objectives.

• Leading and motivating a team of purchasing and store team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in purchasing and inventory management, preferably in a hospitality or related industry.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
• Excellent organisational and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Effective leadership and team management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred).
