Job summary

Homesavers Roscommon is recruiting for a Store Manager to join our team in Roscommon. You will lead and develop the store team, manage rosters and payroll, and ensure outstanding customer service while maintaining store standards and safety.

Key responsibilities include stock control, pricing checks, and daily operations such as opening/closing and cash handling. A strong leader with organisational skills and a track record in retail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support the store team by setting clear expectations. Recruit, train, and develop team members.
• Manage roster, attendance, and payroll processes efficiently.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times while maintaining store standards and safety.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate order placement requirements.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness.
• Drive performance and achieve store targets.
• Monitor performance and take action to improve results
• Manage daily operations including opening/closing of store and cash handling
• Oversee stock control, deliveries, and stockroom organisation
• Ensure company procedures and policies are followed
• Conduct regular checks on pricing, inventory, stock accuracy, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a safe and secure store environment
• Communicate effectively with head office and higher management
