Job summary

Vision Express is seeking a Store Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, lead staff, ensure excellent customer service, maintain store standards and meet sales targets. You will also manage recruitment with support from peers, including the Regional Manager and Store Support Centre, and create a positive work environment while training colleagues to deliver tailored eyecare and eyewear solutions.

Qualifications

• Monitor and analyse sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive growth.
• Lead and support store colleagues with strong leadership and management.
• Communicate clearly with patients, translating terms into understandable language.
• Maintain accurate customer records and prescriptions to provide best service.
• Collaborate with Eye Care Professionals and store management teams.
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure targets are met.
• Manage recruitment for the store with support from Regional Manager and Store Support Centre.
• Maintain store standards, scheduling, inventory, and financial reporting.
• Foster a positive, productive work environment and train staff to deliver eyecare solutions.
