Job summary

Base Wood Fired Pizza in Dublin is seeking a hands-on Store Manager to lead our team and keep the store running smoothly. You’ll oversee staffing, stock, sales, and service standards while ensuring food quality and customer satisfaction.

Take ownership of opening to close operations, hygiene, and safety, with a focus on delivering great pizza and a positive guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role, takeaway, or hospitality.
• A genuine passion for food and great customer service.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team under pressure.
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
• Confidence handling stock control, ordering, and basic financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating, and rostering a team of pizza chefs and front-of-house staff
• Overseeing daily store operations, from opening to close
• Ensuring food quality, consistency, and hygiene standards are met every single time
• Managing stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
• Handling cash management, till reconciliation, and sales reporting
• Recruiting, training, and developing team members
• Delivering excellent customer service and resolving any issues quickly
• Driving sales and identifying opportunities to grow the business
• Ensuring full compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations

The Role

As Store Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the day-to-day success of our store — leading a great team, delivering top-quality pizza, and making sure every customer leaves happy. You'll take ownership of everything from staffing and stock to sales and service standards.
