Company Details Confidential is seeking an experienced Takeaway Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy pizza takeaway in Ireland. You will ensure smooth service, maintain high food quality standards, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while supervising staff.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Takeaway Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy pizza restaurant. The successful candidate will ensure smooth service, maintain high food quality standards, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while managing staff and overseeing all aspects of takeaway operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the takeaway, including staff supervision and shift management.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Maintain compliance with food hygiene, health & safety, and licensing regulations.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Manage cash handling, banking, and financial reporting for shifts.
• Drive sales and profitability through excellent service and local marketing initiatives.
• Schedule staff Rota's to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off-peak hours.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within a pizza takeaway, fast food, or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• A practical, hands‑on approach and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures (Level 2/3 Food Hygiene certificate desirable).
• Competent in basic computer systems and EPOS operation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
