Job summary

Avoca Dunboyne seeks a full-time Stockroom Controller to manage stock in the Dunboyne store, Meath. This role covers stock control, goods inwards and outwards, and maintaining an orderly stock room, with training provided for Meridian EPOS where needed.

Candidates should enjoy fast-paced work, be accurate, and able to work well in a team. The company offers a supportive environment with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced retail stockroom is desirable.
• Experience working with EPOS systems is advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Stock control using the EPOS system.
• Conduct stock counts and cycle counts.
• Perform goods inwards and outwards tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organised stock room and ensure stock rotation.

Stockroom Controller

Description of the role:

The opportunity has arisen for a full-time Stockroom Controller to work in Avoca Dunboyne, Co. Meath.This is a full time position with an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Stock control through use of the EPOS system
• Stock Counts
• Ad-hoc duties as determined by the Manager
• Goods Inwards and Outwards
• Maintaining a clean and organised stock room
• Stock Rotation & Date Checks

Requirements

• Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a physically demanding environment
• Effective teamwork and communication skills is essential
• Experience in a warehouse environment is a distinct advantage
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Knowledge in cycle counting and full stock takes.
• Manual Handling knowledge or experience is desirable
• Good attention to detail, accuracy and adhering to Avoca’s high standard of service
• Goods Inwards & Outwards experience
• Meridian EPOS knowledge preferable but not essential, as training will be provided
