Avoca Dunboyne is seeking an experienced Sales Assistant to join our Dunboyne store. This on-site role requires a proactive team member with a passion for food products and customer service. You will support customers, handle till duties, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

The role is permanent full-time, offering daytime hours and access to our employee benefits. Prior retail experience and strong customer service skills are essential for success in this busy store environment.

Avoca operates 13 Stores locations, a Central Bakery & Kitchen, Central Stores, and a Weaving Production Mill. After all this time, the ethos of Avoca remains the same. We have a host of award-winning cafes and restaurants, Food Markets crammed with artisanal ingredients from near and far, as well as a best-selling range of Avoca cookbooks. There are also gardens to explore at many of our stores, as well as florists and garden centres. The list goes on. And all of this from a modest hand weaving mill, established in a rural Irish village in 1723.

We're looking for an experienced Sales Assistant to join our team in our gorgeous location of Avoca Dunboyne. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be available to start immediately. This role is permanent full-time.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service – A high standard of customer service is required for the role, Including assisting customers in person, via phone etc.
• Previous experience working in a retail setting desirable.
• Till use – scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
• Good food/retail Product knowledge
• Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager

Requirements
