Job summary

Avoca Dunboyne seeks a Food Market Assistant to join our team. Roles include full-time (40 hours/week) and part-time (8 hours/week) positions with an immediate start. Please indicate your preference for full-time or part-time when applying.

You will deliver outstanding customer service, operate the POS system, replenish stock, and support opening/closing procedures. Join a team focused on quality, hospitality, and delivering an exceptional Avoca experience.

The opportunity has arisen for a Food Market Assistant to work in our Avoca Dunboyne store. There are both full time (40 hours per week) and part time (8 hours per week) positions available with an immediate start. Responsibilities

• A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person, via phone and email.
• Point of Sales system – scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
• Replenishing stock, ensuring the Food offering is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
• Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager.
• Advising & serving customers.
