Avoca Malahide is seeking experienced Counter Assistants for a permanent part-time role (16 hours per week), starting immediately. The position requires flexibility and a friendly, professional approach to customer service in a bustling retail cafe environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-standard customer service in-store and over the phone.

• Assist with table service and clearing or replenishing stock.
• Ensure the shop area is clean, tidy and aligned with Avoca brand standards.
• Support opening and closing tasks as directed by the manager.
• Take on ad-hoc duties as required by the supervisor.

We are recruiting for experienced Counter Assistants to work on a permanent part-time basis (16 hours per week) in our location at Avoca Malahide. This position is for an immediate start and the candidate must be flexible.

Duties include:

• Customer Service – A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person and via phone
• Barista – making coffees, serving fresh food to customers.
• Till use – scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
• Running tables/table service
• Replenishing stock, ensuring the department is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
• Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager
• Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and in keeping with Avoca brand standards
• Ad-hoc duties outlined by your manager

Ideal Candidate:
