Job summary

Kilkenny Design is looking for a Stockroom Assistant at Pavillions Shopping Centre, Swords, Ireland. This permanent role involves ensuring stock is moved to the sale floor, managing inventory movements, and maintaining stockroom order while upholding Kilkenny’s values and customer service standards.

You will handle stock receipts, discrepancies, and barcoding, supporting store operations and health and safety compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Move stock to the sale floor and manage stock movements between stores.
• Record accurate inwards and outwards inventory movements.
• Process stock discrepancies, faulty goods, late or short deliveries as required.
• Barcode stock items and ensure SKU accuracy in the system.
• Maintain a clear, safe stockroom in line with health and safety regs.

About You

You'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating product knowledge, and building quality customer relationships to achieve business goals whilst being an ambassador for our values and the Kilkenny brand.

You will also:

• Key responsibility of the stockroom assistant is to get stock to the sale floor.
• Manage all stock movements from suppliers and that are transferred between the stores.
• Follow through with any discrepancies that arise with stock.
• Receipt stock and keep accurate records for all inwards and outwards inventory movements.
• Process claims where required on faulty goods, late deliveries, and short deliveries.
• Investigate claims where required on faulty goods, late deliveries, and short deliveries.
• Work with your manager to ensure all paperwork associated with credits are completed and recorded accurately.
• Ensuring the stockroom is always kept clear and accessible.
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are adhered to.
• Managing SKU accuracy that all stock barcoded match correctly to the system.
• Barcoding of stock items when required.
