Job summary

Ballyfin Demesne is seeking a reliable and organised individual to join our team as a Stores & Security Assistant on a 6 month full-time fixed term contract, with potential extension to 12 months.

The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and focuses on accepting and directing deliveries, managing stores areas, logging temperatures for food deliveries, and assisting the maintenance team with adhoc tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Answer the security phone at all times
• Receive, check and distribute deliveries; complete paperwork and update systems
• Ensure all stores are secure
• Be the main contact for visitors and contractors on site
• Ensure storage areas are clean and orderly with correct stock separation and rotation
• Transport stock from the cage to the main house when requested
• Collect post and deliver to the office
• Accept food deliveries and record correct temperature
• Light painting work as required
• Assist the Maintenance team with adhoc tasks

Job description

This position is a 6 month full-time fixed term contract with the possibility to extension up to 12 months.

Working days will be 5 days over seven, 8.00am to 5.00pm.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hard working and well organised individual to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position will mainly be responsible for accepting and directing incoming deliveries as well as organising our stores areas.

• Ensure all stores are secure

• Collect post and deliver to the office
• Accepting food deliveries and recording correct temperature
