Electricity Supply Board (ESB) seeks a Station Supervisor to lead delivery of work in the National Programme Delivery area. You will ensure contractor safety, manage schedules, and drive cost efficiency while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong project management, and knowledge of MV/HV networks. Hybrid working in the Northeast region with two days in the workplace per week is offered.

Qualifications

• Advanced Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate or Level 7+ qualification with electrical theory content.
• A minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience is essential.
• Knowledge of Network Assets and Standards in particular – HV Stations, Cables, Lines & Protection.
• Understanding of ESB Group policies in dealings with staff, customers, contractors, etc.
• Demonstrates knowledge of ESB Networks Safety Rules.
• Full clean EU driving licence.
• Good knowledge of MV & HV Network Operations.
• Project Management capability.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of ESB Procurement systems.
• Familiarity with Business Systems.

Responsabilités

• Ensure that contractor personnel complete work safely, on time and to required standards.
• Ensure a safe working environment for staff, contractors and the public.
• Carry out safety and quality audits as per agreed audit schedule and provide feedback on performance.
• Use Safety Management System and Local Safety Plans.
• Organising, planning and prioritising for the delivery of work programmes.
• Scheduling work and tracking and reporting on performance.
• Managing contractor productivity to replace aging network assets and install new assets.
• Ensure that work schedules are organised efficiently to minimise disruption.
• Managing costs to minimise risk of over-expenditure on approvals or work programmes.
• Financial management, liaising with QS, management files, processing invoices.
• Managing Contractors and interface with internal delivery teams.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with ESB.
