Job summary

EPS Group in Mallow, Co. Cork, is seeking an experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator to join our Manufacturing Workshop.

You will fabricate stainless-steel components and assemblies for water and wastewater applications, reading drawings and working to tight tolerances. You will cut, form, assemble, and finish stainless steel, work with pipework, frames, tanks and process equipment, and follow health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience as a stainless-steel fabricator is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication/engineering drawings.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate stainless-steel components to drawings and specs.
• Cut, form, assemble and finish stainless materials.
• Work with pipework, frames, tanks and process equipment.
• Pipe welding where required is advantageous.
• Ensure work meets quality and tolerance requirements.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Collaborate with workshop supervisors and engineering teams.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator to join our Manufacturing Workshop in Mallow, Co. Cork. The successful candidate will be involved in the fabrication of high-quality stainless-steel components and assemblies for use in water and wastewater treatment applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication of stainless-steel components to engineering drawings and specifications
• Cutting, forming, assembling and finishing stainless steel materials
• Working with pipework, frames, tanks and process equipment
• Pipe welding where required (advantageous)
• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and tolerances
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Working collaboratively with workshop supervisors and engineering teams

Key Competencies & Skills

• Proven experience as a stainless-steel fabricator (essential)
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings
• High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Good understanding of workshop tools and fabrication equipment
• Pipe welding experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• TIG welding experience with stainless steel
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial workshop environment
• Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship
