Job summary

Albert Bow is seeking a Staff Product Engineer in Dublin to lead across EMEA, blending engineering, product thinking and hands-on development.

You will work closely with customers to understand real problems, define architecture, and ship features that influence experience and revenue while mentoring the Dublin team.

This isn’t a “work through tickets in the background” kind of role.

You’ll sit directly with customers, understand the reality of their problems and turn that complexity into elegant product solutions. You’ll ship features that immediately influence customer experience and revenue while operating as a technical leader, product thinker and hands-on engineer.

What You’ll Do

Provide Technical Leadership Across EMEA

• Set the direction for architecture, reliability and performance
• Make difficult technical trade-offs and take ownership of the outcomes
• Raise the engineering bar across the Dublin team
• Help shape the technical and product direction of the EMEA operation
• Work directly with EMEA customers to understand their challenges
• Translate messy, real-world problems into clear and shippable solutions
• Use customer behaviour, product usage and performance metrics to guide decisions
• Balance immediate customer needs with long-term product scalability
• Build data pipelines that ingest thousands of customer-experience conversations from platforms such as Zendesk, Intercom and Salesforce
• Develop LLM-powered systems spanning prompting, evaluations, retrieval, safety and observability
• Create real-time scoring and analytics loops that drive measurable improvements
• Build modern React and Next.js interfaces that simplify complex AI workflows
• Own systems from initial architecture through to deployment, monitoring and iteration

Influence Across the Business

• Work closely with Product, Design and GTM teams across Dublin and San Francisco
• Bring engineering, customer and commercial perspectives together
• Drive decisions and take responsibility for turning them into results

What We’re Looking For

• Proven capability at Staff Engineer level, or a strong Senior Engineer ready to step up
• Experience working in a startup or similarly fast-moving product environment
• Strong technical leadership across architecture, mentoring and decision-making
• A track record of building and shipping customer-facing products end to end
• Experience working directly with customers to understand and solve complex problems
• Someone comfortable taking ownership of ambiguous challenges without waiting for a detailed specification

You should have strong experience across:

• Modern web technologies, including React, Next.js and APIs
• Scalable backend services, microservices and data pipelines
• Architecture, performance, reliability and production ownership
• AI or LLM integrations would be a strong advantage, but are not essential
