We are currently hiring Staff Nurses to join the Nursing Panel of a reputed hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Deliver safe and effective nursing care in accordance with Nursing Department and NMBI guidelines, hospital policies, procedures, legal requirements and professional standards, while maintaining accurate, confidential and timely patient documentation.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care from admission through discharge, completing care plans, clinical records and relevant documentation, and communicating patient information effectively using the approved ISBAR handover and escalation process.
Provide professional and compassionate care to patients and their relatives, demonstrate effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary departments, respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, and exercise sound clinical judgement while escalating concerns to the CNM, medical staff or relevant disciplines.
Administer medications safely in accordance with hospital policy, including the appropriate management and recording of controlled drugs, and perform IV cannulation in line with approved clinical guidelines.
Support the effective management of the department by delegating and supervising staff, mentoring student and newly appointed nurses and care assistants, managing stock and resources, deputising for the CNM when required, and reporting adverse incidents or operational concerns in accordance with hospital procedures.
Contribute to quality improvement, evidence-based nursing practice, hospital accreditation and performance review processes, including data collection, identifying recurring clinical issues, maintaining professional education records and participating in ongoing professional development.
Support endoscopy procedures by assisting medical staff, assessing and monitoring patients before, during and after conscious sedation, responding promptly to complications, and following approved procedures for endoscope care, cleaning and specimen management.
