Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Dublin 16 is recruiting a full-time Staff Nurse to join a small private care facility. Reporting to the Care Unit Manager, you will work a 4-cycle roster and deliver high-quality, person-centred care while guiding the wider care team.

The role requires active NMBI registration and offers opportunities for training, professional development, and progression within a supportive organisation. A rolling roster alternates day and night shifts, with 37.5 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Active registration with NMBI.
• Elderly care experience desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic nursing care tailored to residents' needs.
• Supervise and support Healthcare Assistants.
• Collaborate with GPs and senior nursing staff.
• Maintain care plans and HIQA-compliant documentation.
• Administer medications safely.
