Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse on the current live register of NMBI.
• At least five years’ relevant experience in the Irish healthcare system.
• Basic Life Support certification is mandatory for all Nurses.
• Advanced Life Support certification, if applicable to area of work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Complete nursing assessments and care plans with accurate documentation.
• Maintain patient records confidentially and report patient information using ISBAR handover.
• Provide care with minimal supervision and deputise for CNM when required.
• Mentor student nurses and new staff; participate in continuous professional development.
• Contribute to hospital accreditation activities and data collection.
