As Named Nurse, you will keep accurate records, work closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, and participate in ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Must hold first level nursing registration with NMBI.
• Registered on the NMBI live register.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide care respecting dignity, privacy and individuality of residents.
• Act as Named Nurse and maintain all relevant documentation.
• Build relationships with residents, families and visitors; provide support in bereavement.
• Adhere to Mowlam Healthcare policies and standards.
• Maintain clear, concise records in line with legislation and standards.
• Safeguard administration of drugs and medicines per policy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of HIQA standards and participate in inspections.
• Manage admissions per procedures with complete documentation.
• Coordinate with health professionals for discharge planning and continuity of care.
