Job summary

The Talbot Group in Stratford-on-Slaney, Co. Wicklow, invites applications from passionate Staff Nurses to join our Children's Disability Residential Service.

You will deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care, supporting residents to reach personal goals and maximise independence, while collaborating with families and MDT colleagues. We seek registered nurses with NMBI registration in Intellectual Disability or Mental Health (or eligible).

Qualifications

• NMBI registration in Intellectual Disability or Mental Health, or eligible for registration.
• Experience in residential, respite or day services for people with intellectual disabilities.
• Knowledge of person-centred planning and relevant clinical policies.
• Knowledge of HIQA National Disability Standards.
• Passion for supporting people to live their best lives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
• Support residents to achieve their personal goals and maximise independence.
• Work closely with families, MDT colleagues and other professionals.
• Monitor health and respond appropriately to medical needs.
• Manage medication safely in line with professional and Talbot Group standards.
• Complete clinical assessments and nursing procedures within your scope of practice.
• Promote privacy, dignity, choice and respect at all times.

Talbot Group is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our Children's Disability Residential Service in Stratford-on-Slaney.
