Job summary

Avista is seeking a Staff Nurse to join Dublin Day Services across D15, D11 and D7 areas. This permanent full-time (37.5 hrs) and part-time (21 hrs) position offers a salary of €38,166–€56,592 (LSI) depending on experience and hours.

Essential qualifications include NMBI registration, experience with intellectual disability, and a full clean Irish driving licence. The role supports people to live their best lives in the community with a person-centred approach.

STAFF NURSE

Dublin Day Services- Locations in D15, D11 and D7 Areas

PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (37.5 HRS PER WEEK) AND

PART TIME CONTRACT (21HRS PER WEEK)

Salary: €38,166 - €56,592 * (LSI)

• Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

Essential:

• Have up to date NMBI Registration.
• Experience working in the area of intellectual disability.
• Full clean Irish manual driving licence.
• Proficiency in the English Language.

Desirable:

• Intellectual Disability Nurse Registration (RNID).
• Knowledge of person-centred planning and an awareness of New Directions.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have experience of supporting people to integrate into their community
• Adopt a holistic and person centre approach to your role to ensure people are supported to live their best live and develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
