Job summary

Avista is hiring a Staff Nurse to support people with intellectual disabilities across Dublin day services (locations in D15, D11 and D7). This permanent full-time role (37.5 hours) requires up-to-date NMBI registration and RNID registration, plus a clean driving licence.

You will work in a person-centred, community-based setting and contribute to enabling people to live their best lives. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication, English proficiency, and a holistic approach, with

STAFF NURSE

Dublin Day Services- Locations in D15, D11 and D7 Areas

PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (37.5 HRS PER WEEK) AND

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

• Have up to date NMBI Registration.
• Experience working in the area of intellectual disability.
• Full clean Irish manual driving licence.
• Proficiency in the English Language.
• Intellectual Disability Nurse Registration (RNID).
• Knowledge of person-centred planning and an awareness of New Directions.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have experience of supporting people to integrate into their community
• Adopt a holistic and person centre approach to your role to ensure people are supported to live their best live and develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
