Job summary

Avista is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (CNM3) to lead services across Dublin (D15, D11, D7). This permanent full-time role (37.5 HPW) requires NMBI RNID registration and a recognised management qualification, with a driving licence and access to a vehicle.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure HIQA compliance, and mentor staff to deliver high-quality supports for people with intellectual disabilities. Strong leadership, communication, and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• NMBI Registration in the RNID division.
• Management Qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent.
• Full clean driving licence and access to vehicle.
• Minimum two years’ CNM2 experience in intellectual disability.
• Knowledge of HIQA standards/regulations.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
• Proficiency in the English language.

Salary: €72,146 - €81,478

• Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience.

Essential:

• NMBI Registration in the RNID division.
• Management Qualification - Possess a Recognised Management Qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent.
• Full Clean Driving licence and access to vehicle.
• Have a minimum of two years’ experience at CNM2 level in the area of intellectual disability.
• Have a detailed knowledge of the HIQA standards / regulations and Health Act 2007 and can maintain the high-level set post initial registration visit by HIQA.
• Have experience working with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies in the co-ordination of services.
• Proficiency in the English language.

Desirable:

• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Have experience of working with behaviours of Concern and complex care needs and supporting mentoring staff teams in the delivery of a high quality to the Service Users.
• Be a highly motivated individual who can demonstrate effective leadership and managerial skills, and the capacity to manage change.
• Have proven people management, leadership, communications and interpersonal skills.
