Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Staff Network Production Engineer, Network Ops to join the Network Operations team. You’ll implement and operate the global edge, backbone, and data center network for HPC clusters with GPUs, ensuring security and scalability. You will provide 24/7 monitoring and rapid incident response, helping Crusoe stay highly available.

The role requires leadership, hands-on expertise, and strong communication. You’ll mentor engineers and collaborate across teams to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of production network experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, QoS, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, EVPN, VXLAN.
• Experience with monitoring tools and telemetry.
• Hands-on with major network devices (Mellanox, Cisco, Arista, Juniper).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Execute network changes across datacenters and backbone/edge to scale capacity.
• Manage Crusoe network components and ensure high availability.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support and incident response.
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices for incident response.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.
