Job summary

MongoDB is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineering Manager for the Storage Layer Services (SLS) team in Cork. You will lead a small, senior SRE team as founding members, shape the roadmap for multi-tenant distributed storage systems, and partner with engineering leaders to ensure reliability, durability, and operational safety of Atlas storage components.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience working on software and operating distributed systems.
2+ years managing engineering teams.

Strong automation focus and experience with modern IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

Build and lead a team of 6-8 engineers, fostering culture and growth.
Define a clear technical vision and roadmap for multi-tenant storage systems.
Lead architectural reviews and guide the team through complex operational challenges.
Act as liaison for Storage Layer Services SRE team and ensure platform alignment.
