Job summary

AWS Data Center Learning is seeking a Sr. Video Production and Learning Content Specialist to lead development of multimedia learning content for Data Center Communities (DCC).

The role blends video production, graphic design, and instructional design to create engaging materials for frontline technicians through to senior leaders. You'll direct end-to-end video production, collaborate with SMEs, design graphics, and maintain a centralized asset library while ensuring accessibility,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Technical Training, Design, or a related field
  • Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Experience in a training role, including technical training
  • Experience in training, performance management and coaching/mentoring
  • Experience with predictive and preventative maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on material handling equipment (MHE) and automated conveyor systems
  • Experience implementing and enforcing safety standards within warehouse and maintenance environments
  • Experience developing or delivering training programs across multiple sites or regions

  • Optimize content for multi-platform delivery, accessibility, and localization while incorporating instructional design best practices.
  • Monitor performance metrics and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous content improvements while staying current with emerging technologies and learning trends.

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Sr. Video Production and Learning Content Specialist to lead the development and creation of compelling multimedia learning content that drives operational and cultural excellence across Data Center Communities (DCC). This role combines video production and editing expertise with graphic design and learning design capabilities to create engaging content for operations.

The position focuses on developing professional-grade video content and graphics that builds confidence, accelerate learning adoption, and shifts mindsets, establishing systems and resources that empower Learning Experience Designers (LXDs) to create impactful content. Through effective storytelling and technical accuracy, this role will support critical initiatives including Manager, Data Center Operations and New Product Introduction Learning Paths, and create assets for continuous improvement.

Success in this role requires someone who can balance creative production with technical precision, while building collaborative relationships across the organization to harvest and utilize existing resources effectively. The ideal candidate will help transform our learning approach by creating engaging multimedia content that resonates with audiences from frontline technicians to senior leaders, fostering a culture of continuous learning throughout our global data center operations.

This is a pivotal role in modernizing our learning strategy and accelerating the adoption of key programs and processes that drive operational excellence and cultural transformation across our organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Technical Training, Design, or a related field

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
  • Experience with graphic training systems, multimedia content creation, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration
  • Experience leading training strategy initiatives across large-scale operations and working cross-functionally at senior levels
  • Experience mentoring trainers, using data analytics for training effectiveness measurement, and leading change management initiatives
