Job summary

McKesson in Ireland (Cork) seeks an experienced ServiceNow Administrator to own and evolve the ServiceNow platform. You will configure forms, flows, and service catalog items while driving upgrades, CMDB accuracy, and automation to improve service delivery.

The role requires 7+ years in ServiceNow administration, strong scripting (GlideRecord, Business Rules, Script Includes), and a collaborative approach to cross-functional programs. Hybrid work model offered with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration, platform engineering, or enterprise application administration.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow core administration, including users, roles, groups, and ACLs.
• Experience configuring ServiceNow forms, lists, workflows, and service catalog items.
• Strong scripting experience in ServiceNow, including GlideRecord, Business Rules, and Script Includes.
• Experience supporting platform upgrades, patching, test planning, and release validation.
• Experience administering CMDB and improving configuration data quality.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.

Basic Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration, platform engineering, or enterprise application administration.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in regulated, compliance-driven enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, service mapping, asset management, or related ServiceNow modules.
• Experience partnering with security, architecture, and operations teams on access, governance, and platform standards.
• Demonstrated learning agility, collaboration, and strategic problem-solving in platform operations.

Travel / In-Office / Physical Requirements

• Work model (hybrid, or onsite) based on team and business needs.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
